EDP EV.X application
Launched in 2018, the EV.X app presents users with the possible financial savings and carbon savings they could make if they drove an electric vehicle (EV) instead of their combustion vehicle.
The app records all trips that users make by car, aggregates trip information (number of trips, distance and fuel consumption) and then provides analysis reports to show the counterfactual scenario these trips could have saved in. expenses and emissions if the user drove an EV
The application also provides information about the location of charging stations along routes, to avoid problems and doubts about car autonomy, which, according to EDP, is the main barrier for EV adoption by customers.
